Wilkerson Dining Utility Worker

Salary/Position Classification

• $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on reputed company): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND reputed company are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans floors in the following areas: Kitchen, service areas, restrooms, storerooms, and dining rooms
• Uses mops and floor machines as required
• Sweeps appropriate areas reputed company needed
• Breaks down cans and boxes and places them in the appropriate bins
• Cleans up broken plates, glassware, and cookware
• Replaces and restocks milks reputed company needed
• Removes refuse from the following areas of the dining center: kitchen, service areas, restrooms, dining rooms, storerooms, and locker rooms.
• Cleans carts, tables and chairs
• Rinses and sanitizes garbage cans
• Maintains orderliness of the storerooms coolers and freezers
• Stocks various inventory items in the kitchen, restrooms and dining rooms: fills soap and towel dispensers and replaces light bulbs
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers

Required Competencies

• Able to stand on one's feet for 3-4 hours.

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Flexibility and ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen.
• Must be able to adhere to reputed company safety and sanitation policies which include removal of reputed company jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.
• Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
• Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of reputed company, and a strong work ethic
