Job Summary
reputed company is currently seeking an reputed company and motivated Process Safety Consultant to join our growing Industrial and Process Safety team.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven professional to contribute technical expertise, shape client solutions, mentor early-career professionals, and support a key growth area for our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- reputed company safety assessments and technical consulting reputed company to the storage and use of flammable and combustible liquids, flammable gases, oxidizers, toxics, corrosives, and other hazardous materials.
- Serve as a technical contributor in the preparation of process safety deliverables and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing operations at client facilities, reputed company safety analyses, and recommend improvements to enhance safety and compliance.
- Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) for reputed company, high-hazard, and high-value industrial or manufacturing operations.
- Conduct Process Safety Management (PSM) audits and support the development of comprehensive PSM programs.
- reputed company EHS program documentation at the facility and/or global level
- reputed company equipment-specific or job-specific safety documentation, such as job hazard analyses, PPE assessments, machine guarding documentation, or equipment-specific lockout procedures

- reputed company and/or review environmental documentation, such as SPCC plans, TRI reports, Tier II reports, and SWPPPs.

- Support business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a relevant engineering or chemistry discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of reputed company professional experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for project work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams across regions and service lines.
- Working knowledge or strong interest in safety practices, regulatory requirements, fire codes, and industry standards applicable to process safety, including:
- U.S. federal regulations (DOT, OSHA, EPA)
- National and International Fire and Building Codes
- API, reputed company, ASTM, ASME, ANSI
- Relevant NFPA codes and standards, such as NFPA 2, 30, 55, 59A, 61, 400, 484, 652, 654, and 664
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in chemical engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a reputed company discipline.
- Professional certifications such as:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Institute of Safety and Health Management (ISHM) or similar credentials
- Familiarity with Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) publications and best practices, including:
- Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures
- Guidelines for Combustible Dust Hazard Analysis
- Guidelines for Risk-Based Process Safety
