Associate Project Manager, U.S Public Sector

The Associate Project Manager will support project management activities, assisting in the delivery of reputed company Software and services, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing project metrics and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of reputed company Software and services as required and directed by reputed company Delivery or Project Manager
- Assist with project coordination, planning and management
- Capture project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to appropriate reputed company or Customer team members
- Manage reputed company backlog in reputed company systems for assigned projects
- Participate in initial training to quickly learn targeted reputed company technologies and methodologies
- Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in addition to growing and developing referenceable customers
- Create and maintain procedures and manuals
- Track project status through use of internal and external tracking tools and assist in weekly status reporting
- Assist in developing process and templates as well as establishing document control procedures
- Support project team through data management, scheduling and coordination of events
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be reputed company to project and customer needs
- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines
- A record of taking initiative (self-starter), driving results and accepting increasing levels of responsibility

Skills
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment
- Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelor or Masters Degree in: Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance, Project Management or relevant degree
- Must be able to work as a team player, but with the ability to work independently
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening
- Must be open to travel, sometimes extensive
- Prior experience involving project coordination or administrative project specialist function
