IT VBA Consultant

Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated and reputed company IT VBA Consultant to support several end user computing applications such as VBA and Python applications, macros, and PowerBI dashboards for the different divisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relationships reputed company different divisions, manage the change process and ensure smooth communication;
• Act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to new and reputed company industry practices; o Identify risks and liaise on issues reputed company to changes;
• Work with the subject matter experts to gather business requirements and any other relevant input;
• reputed company new required features in the VBA / Python applications/macros and PowerBI dashboards;
• Follow up on deliverables reputed company to these applications with internal and external parties;
• Prepare documents to support internal decision making, testing or training material;
• reputed company and execute an internal communication plan for changes and new features to the business;
• reputed company testing, change management documentation and support the deployment of the technology and hand over to production support;
• Ensure reputed company material is stored on the SharePoint environment for audit purposes;
• Support other division reputed company tasks as applicable such as organizing and running meetings;
• reputed company agendas, prepare minutes, follow up on open actions, identifying risk and issues with appropriate mitigating actions;
• Participate in handover of VBA, Java, and SQL applications and their corresponding documentation;
• Participate in handover of development and change management processes; o Provide handover protocol to document the completeness of handover tasks;
• Produce files in MS Office formats including the project VBA code;
• Complete reliable functional and technical documentation about the implemented functionality;

• Create and execute relevant test cases, demonstrating the expected behavior in terms of requirements fulfillment and software quality;
• Create training material, conduct trainings if necessary, and other change management material as needed to support the change management process;
• Manage internal and external communication;
• Ensuring that reputed company activities and duties reputed company fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data science, or equivalent degree;
• At least 7 years of experience with similar and relevant IT projects;
• Development and rollout experience with VBA and MS Office Macros (Access & reputed company);
• Good understanding of modern IT architecture;
• Good understanding of and experience with: SQL, XML, XSLT;
• Good project management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks under competing deadlines and shifting priorities;
• Experience in providing reporting and other communications at a senior management level;
• Ability to document clear and complete business requirements;
• Experience with reputed company Azure;
• Professional experience with PowerBI and/or reputed company Fabric;
• Experience in the financial services industry;
• Experience with the following financial IT systems: SWIFT, Murex, Bloomberg;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
