Primary Location: United States (US) - Maine  - Portland   Function: Marketing and Sales (CA) Title: Product Specialist - 119230  Onsite/Remote:Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.  

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Specialist based near Portland, Mexico, or Bangor, ME, you will:

• Leads initiatives on specific products to provide expert development, delivery and resolution to product support and marketing activities
• reputed company product strategy, processes and programs to meet requirements for channel partners, end user customers and company personnel
• Provide market feedback to product development (activities may apply to operational, technical, parts or sales aspects of the products)

What Skills You Need

• Strong technical background in heavy equipment repair
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as be able to program and calibrate computer-controlled operating and measuring systems
• Experience with forestry cut-to-length machinery and applications
• Ability and willngnes to travel up to 75% reputed company assigned territory 

What Makes You Standout

• Having a background as a forestry heavy equipment technician, particularly with Waratah product experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and equipment dealers

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent reputed company work experience in the following:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Technology would be preferred
