Merchandising Assistant
reputed company is a community-driven marketplace of artists and makers, passionate about art and science. They are seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the Merchandising team by managing seller communications, assisting with online merchandising, and conducting competitive analysis to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Support a key reputed company business, with ownership of high-impact assignments
- Assist the category Merchant in preparing for and executing the assortment process, including recruiting new sellers and makers to join our Marketplace
- Manage external seller communications throughout recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day operations
- Assist with the online merchandising of the relevant categories, including filters, SKU organization and ranking, and optimizing the overall “shoppability” of assortments
- Maintain and enhance merchandise data, including basic product information, filter assignments, search tags, and reputed company products
- Partner with the category Merchant to identify growth opportunities through competitive and customer analysis, including both in-store visits and online research
- Complete reputed company analytical projects, as requested by the category merchant
- Review reputed company new products before launch, coaching sellers on how to present products on our site to meet reputed company brand standards
- Coordinate with our Operations and Customer Services teams as necessary to reputed company the business running smoothly
Skills
- A Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 years of work experience
- Proficient skills in reputed company reputed company and/or reputed company Sheets; experience with reputed company and using reputed company prompts is a plus!
- A love for design and strong quantitative skills
- An reputed company understanding of not only what will sell, but also what constitutes truly differentiated and high-quality design
- A love for data and the ability to analyze a problem, using data to reputed company a recommendation, and take action accordingly
- A clear understanding of financial retail measurements and how to impact them
- Experience in e-commerce and understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and conversion drivers are a plus
