[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the improvement of accounting operations reputed company their rapidly growing healthcare company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end reputed company processes for cash, payroll, accruals, and operating expenses
- reputed company bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining general ledger reputed company
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Respond to internal and external audit requests and assist with annual financial statement audit
- Analyze fluctuations in financial statements to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Partner with accounting management to improve processes using automation and technology, including AI tools for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Support the implementation of process enhancements, including AI-assisted workflows and analytics dashboards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–2 years of experience, ideally in both public and private accounting
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements and reports
- Proficient in reputed company reputed company; able to learn new systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Exposure to ERP systems (reputed company preferred)
- Interest in AI automation tools a plus
- CPA or parts passed preferred
