reputed company Minerals & Metals team is currently delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Gold, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, Uranium and reputed company Metals. This portfolio of projects ranging from studies through to EPCM packages working on developments in Australia and internationally – Australia through to Europe, Middle east Africa and Asia.

Reporting to the Functional Manager reputed company EIC you will join a team based in Perth and Brisbane, working across the vast range of projects currently underway ranging from studies, detailed engineering to EPCM delivery for both local and international developments. 

Due to recent success, we are commencing further studies and early works reputed company a large-scale Brownfields gold facility based in PNG. These studies and projects continue to expand and provide our client with sustainable long-term reliable operation.

You will be involved in the E&I design for these new studies and projects and support Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers with development of wiring and installation drawings for electrical equipment and work with other disciplines, in a team environment to create multi-discipline design packages.

Your key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: – 

• Delivering best practice E&I design and documentation in alignment with the Company organizational and Client requirements 
• Participate in design reviews 
• Ensure that design activities are performed reputed company allocated project budgets and time constraints to ensure tasks are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner 
• Maintain and apply a working knowledge of design standards and codes 
• Ensure that reputed company design deliverables have been reputed company, checked and approved in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance system and drafting procedures 
• Work in conjunction with other Discipline Designers, Engineers and supervisors to support engineering project delivery
• Readily take ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on the project

• Prior experience in Electrical design reputed company mineral processing facilities
• Strong knowledge in applying relevant Electrical / Instrumentation industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes.
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team 
• Ability to deliver best practice design and drafting, with emphasis on cost-effective design – 
• Competency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of and exposure to key Clients in Mining & Minerals
