About the Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Vermont

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician working remotely from Vermont, you will play a critical role in our Prior Authorization team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to members, customers, and healthcare providers by reputed company processing prior authorization requests for formulary and non-formulary medications. This involves a reputed company of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls (up to 50-70 per day) from providers and members, addressing their queries and resolving issues reputed company to formulary and benefit coverage.
• Process prior authorization requests accurately and reputed company using various computer systems, job aids, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct clinical reviews for authorizations, adhering to legal and contractual requirements, including turnaround times (TATs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Document interactions with callers as per contractual and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and high-quality service.
• Resolve reputed company issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner, contributing to high customer satisfaction.

Requirements for Success:

To reputed company in this role, you must possess:

• An active National Pharmacy Technician Certification from a recognized certifying body such as PTCB, NHA, or The National Board of Prior Authorization Specialist.
• A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.

• The ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required by the business.
