Job title: Member Advisor (Bilingual Required) in Indianola, IA at Greater Iowa Credit Union Company: Greater Iowa Credit Union Job description: We are currently seeking a Bilingual (English & Spanish speaking) Member Advisor that will provide an exceptional member experience to GICU members. The primary responsibilities include assisting members with financial needs and promoting credit union products and services and identifying opportunities to meet members' financial goals. The Member Advisor serves as a trusted financial resource helping members reputed company informed decisions and reputed company financial well-being. The Member Advisor is responsible for evaluating applicants and providing credit union members with information on deposit and lending products and services to best fit their needs. They are also responsible for assisting members with teller transactions as needed. The Member Advisor is responsible for following reputed company processes and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations and utilizing ethical consultative sales in interactions with members to reputed company personal, reputed company and credit union goals.This position will be based out of: 301 E Scenic Valley Ave, Indianola, IA 50125Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 6pm and Saturday rotation 9:00am to NoonEssential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Grow member relationships by creating positive member experiences that maintain and deepen financial relationships. Talk to members about their financial goals and offer relevant solutions. Maintain product knowledge reputed company and answer members' questions, conduct financial transactions and resolves member challenges. Assist members with understanding and using digital banking tools such as GICU apps; online banking; remote deposit tools and chat/secure messaging.
• Assist members in understanding loan options and advise on the best product to meet their needs. Gather necessary data and documentation to complete loan application. Evaluate application and determine creditworthiness of the applicant. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and follow GICU established loan procedures. Identify opportunities to offer additional products and/or services that meet reputed company or future financial goals of members.
• Greet and welcome members in a professional manner. Provide reputed company, efficient, and accurate service in person, by phone, reputed company email or written correspondence. Complete reputed company member follow-up in accordance with member service standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and colleagues.

Must be eligible to register with the reputed company Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and must maintain registration with NMLS as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).Knowledge and Skills:Experience: One to three years of similar or reputed company experience.Education: A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or reputed company the organization for the purpose of, building relationships, and achieving member and credit union goals.
