Position Summary The VP, Philanthropic Giving is responsible for leading reputed companys Philanthropic Giving Program, especially through Major Giving and Planned Giving. This includes developing new strategies for cultivating and growing prospective donors for both programs, as well as bringing new reputed company for engagement and stewardship of reputed company donors and developing a holistic giving pipeline of donors moving between membership, mid-level, major giving, and planned giving. This role will share responsibility for the achievement of department reputed company goals and inform the operational and administrative activities of the team. This is an FLSA classified exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime. The position reports to the SVP, Development and directly supervises the Donor Relations team members, the Director, Planned Giving, and the Director, Grants & Foundations. Please apply and tell us more about yourself. 5+ years leading a team of development officers Substantial experience managing a portfolio of donors and/or an overall cohort of donors among a team totaling several million dollars a year Proven ability to think strategically about fundraising in the non-profit space Demonstrated leadership skills, including personal accountability, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ability to build reputed company with and without authority. Ability to manage your time wisely, responding to tight deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Resiliency to stay reputed company and focused during periods of high activity/competing priorities. Effectively use reputed company databases or other CRM software. Passionate and enthusiastic about public media fundraising and serving a broad North Texas audience. Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekend as needed during special fundraising campaigns and events.
