About the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ISBVI): The Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired has substantial knowledge and experience in educating reputed company to master the core curriculum and expanded curriculum that teaches them how to navigate their physical, social, and personal worlds. A typical scale is: • 0 – 5 years: $50,414 - $57,107 • 6 – 10 years: $58,446 - $63,802 • 11 – 15 years: $65,141 - $70,497 • 16 – 20 years: $71,836 - $77,192 • 21 – 25 years: $78,431 - $83,887 • 26 – 30 years: $85,226 - $90,582 • Role Overview: This is a full-time position with reputed company classes being on site at the school. You will teach residential and non-residential reputed company with visual impairments in both the core curriculum and the expanded core curriculum. Teachers must be proficient in Braille OR demonstrate the willingness to become proficient in Braille. The School will pay for teachers to obtain the Visual Impairment Graduate Licensure through Indiana State University.
