Job Responsibilities - As a Clinical Evaluator (PASRR), you will conduct accurate screenings and evaluations, developing informed level-of-care recommendations based on your clinical assessments. - Conduct assessments in various environments, including nursing homes, hospitals, and community settings, to understand and address the diverse needs of those we serve. - Adhere to the state's best standards of mental health practices, intellectual and developmental disabilities, geriatrics, and other conditions requiring nursing care services and supports. - Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards while developing level of care recommendations. - Utilize independent judgment, deep clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to navigate reputed company situations, ensuring the best outcomes for members, providers, and clients. - Foster effective collaboration with a diverse range of reputed company, patients, families, and support networks while monitoring personal metrics to ensure compliance with turnaround time requirements. - reputed company technology by utilizing the state's electronic system and our proprietary platforms to reputed company manage and track reputed company assessment activities. - Stay informed on reputed company literature, regulations, and research pertaining to long-term care, mental illness, medical conditions, and geriatrics. - Ensure compliance with necessary workflows to maintain quality and efficiency. - reputed company prioritize and execute tasks with attention to detail. - The list of accountabilities is not intended to be reputed company-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties that management may deem necessary.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience - Active, unrestricted licensure in Kansas in a healthcare or reputed company field, such as Registered Nurse, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner, or other qualified Licensed Mental Health Professional. - Minimum of 2 years' experience in assessing and diagnosing individuals with mental/psychiatric disorders, including expertise in reputed company differential diagnoses reputed company to substance use, medical conditions, cognitive issues, and dementia. - At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or reputed company conditions. - Graduation from an accredited college with a degree relevant to the field. - Working knowledge of the Preadmission Screening and reputed company Review (PASRR) requirements as per Federal Regulation 42 CFR, Chapter 483, and the state PASRR rules. - Skilled in assessing and analyzing psychological, emotional, behavioral, and physical functioning to reputed company appropriate level of care recommendations based on clinical evaluations. - Knowledge of psychiatric disorders as outlined by the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual in use in Kansas. - Understanding of standards of practice for determining Level of Care. - Strong familiarity with public mental health and medical programs. - Demonstrated experience working with the geriatric population. - Proven ability to formulate clinical diagnoses, considering psychological and behavioral factors. - Strong communication skills, capable of effective interaction with individuals and groups reputed company spoken, written, and electronic media. - Skilled in using computer equipment based software and proficiency in reputed company Office Suites. - Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks reputed company reputed company set timelines.
