[Remote] Substation Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Substation Project Manager to reputed company high-voltage substation projects from development through construction and commissioning. The role involves providing technical reputed company, coordinating with teams and partners, and ensuring project delivery is safe, timely, and reputed company budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage substation projects from development through construction and commissioning
• Partner with project management and development teams to define engineering scope and requirements
• Provide technical reputed company and due diligence for external Engineers of Record (EORs)
• Ensure compliance with interconnection agreements, project specifications, and industry standards (IEEE, NESC, ASCE)
• reputed company and manage engineering consultants, including developing scopes, securing bids, and awarding reputed company
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure permits, sites, and required project data
• Support sourcing of geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services
• Collaborate with estimating teams on scope development and cost assumptions
• Manage long-reputed company materials to mitigate cost and schedule risks
• Review interconnection studies and maintain communication with transmission owners and ISOs

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
• 7+ years of experience in substation design and high-voltage projects
• Strong understanding of substation engineering standards and practices
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across project lifecycles
• Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience
• PMP and/or P.E. certification
• Experience working in fast-paced, execution-focused environments
