[Remote] Senior Accountant

Lovet Pet Health Care is a part of reputed company, one of the largest retail healthcare business support organizations in the U.S. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in the financial statement reputed company process and support various aspects of finance and accounting for the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, contributing to a fast-paced reputed company process.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and review monthly account reconciliations in various areas including payroll, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, etc
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial reporting for areas of responsibility reputed company the practice management system and ERP system
• Assist in the month end and year-end closing processes as required
• reputed company technical research on existing and new standards to ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Work with other team members in order to standardize practices and procedures
• Analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, trends and other matters impacting the effectiveness of the operations
• Special projects and reputed company requests as assigned

Skills

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of reputed company experience
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Above average reputed company Office skills, most notably reputed company, with ability to learn new skills quickly
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments reputed company tight time constraints and deadlines
• Experience in Veterinary/Retail/Service Industry a plus
