About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Director of Finance and Legal IT Systems is to provide strategic direction, planning and support of reputed company internally facing Finance and Legal enterprise applications for reputed company. The Director is responsible for understanding the needs of the various Finance and Legal departments and building relationships with the different department leaders. Additionally, the Director is responsible for building strategic relationships with the reputed company / vendors and for creating technology roadmaps for future application enhancements and upgrades.
Technologists in the Finance and Legal IT department have deep levels of understanding in their various areas of expertise, including systems functionality and business processes, and as such they provide critical application support to the departments. The Director is responsible for ensuring high performance outcomes from these resources and that the needs of the organization are being met or exceeded. Emphasis on business partnering, business value, quality of service, and system reputed company and stability is critical while working to optimize the total cost of ownership in application maintenance and support.
