What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Work with the customer provided AutoCAD/REVIT files to prepare reputed company systems installation drawings to meet the contract documentation (specification and contract drawings) requirements and as instructed by the reputed company designer.
• Run interference/clash detection to detect design clashes to assist project team with coordination process
• Attend weekly meetings and submit updates to reputed company Designer
• Adjust BIM models as directed by the customer and track changes to coordinate with the project manager for change order pricing if required.
• Create, collect various 2D drawings as needed to be inserted in the BIM model
• Manage 3D models for design coordination and submission for approval by the customer
• Creation of additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as needed
• Assist the project team with model visualizations
• Provide project team with updated construction drawings as change orders are released by the customer
• Manage and use BIM modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks)
• Manage and use coordination, scheduling, programming, file sharing and collaboration platforms
• Update model as required by the change orders released by the customer.
• Correspond regularly with the customer and other subcontractors
• Work directly with the project managers to obtain data sheets on submitted equipment for modeling and submit RFI’s as needed
• Obtain electronic files as needed for model coordination
• Update drawing set as change orders are approved and released for construction
• Prepares system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-reputed company under minimal supervision of the reputed company Designer. Handles more reputed company issues that have been escalated from less reputed company BIM Operators.
• Assembles drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on moderate to reputed company drawing package sets and data sheets.
• Assembles operations and maintenance manuals and system documentations
• Reviews own drawings for quality and accuracy.  May review drawings from less reputed company colleagues.
• Prints, runs copies, distributes shop drawings/reputed company-out documents to different departments/clients as necessary.
• Completes assign drawings on time and on budget.  May reputed company less reputed company AuotCAD/BIM Operators in timely completion of drawings.
• Assists colleagues with drafting support as requested or required.
• Organizes/maintains project folders and drawings.
• Updates project schedule daily.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Strong knowledge/expertise in latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
• Advanced skills level in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
• Advance technical skills and experience reputed company to reputed company systems.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, reputed company)

Requirements

Education Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of previous AutoCAD/BIM experience required.

• Minimum of five years’ experience in the electronic reputed company industry

Certifications & Licenses

• Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate required.
• Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification required

• Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) preferred
