The selected individual, joining the Purchasing team, will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process for direct materials (mechanical, electrical, electronic components, etc.) and indirect materials (consumables, equipment, services) necessary for the production of advanced air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and air purification systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for closely collaborating with internal departments (Production, Planning, Technical Office, Quality, Logistics) to understand procurement needs and ensure the timely availability of materials. Starting from order issuance, they will be responsible for ensuring on-time material arrival through monitoring and expediting suppliers. More specifically, within the operational team, the resource will be responsible for:

  • Managing price lists and issuing orders to suppliers.
  • Managing purchase orders, monitoring, and expediting deliveries.
  • Managing suppliers and resolving any issues that arise during the production phase.
  • Managing, in conjunction with relevant departments, quality problems, material shortages, non-compliant invoices, etc.
  • Managing daily negotiations with non-strategic suppliers.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects related to the purchasing process.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and current purchasing regulations.
  • Keeping documentation related to suppliers, contracts, and purchase orders updated.
  • Managing payment terms and conditions.

Requirements for Selection:

Applications with the following requirements will be considered:

  • Preferable: High school diploma with a technical specialization.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and to interface with various company functions and suppliers.
  • Aptitude for learning, precision, and a positive approach to developing new projects.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding mechanical and electronic material specifications.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular) and ERP systems logic.

Additional Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the industrial/metalworking sector.
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar company functions within structured manufacturing environments.

Proactivity, excellent analytical and organizational skills, along with problem-solving ability, complete the desired profile.
