Job Summary
Working as part of an integrated cross-functional team, Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts turn data into information and knowledge, understand how that information/knowledge supports and enables key business processes, and communicate those insights for maximum business impact. BI Analysts contribute to the business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs of the organization. It is essential that BI Analysts build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues. They provide data that is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. BI Analysts educate and train customers to use data as an analytical tool. BI Analysts work with customers to determine business requirements, priorities, and define key performance indicators (KPI). This includes working with business or clinical teams to design and document dashboards, alerts, reports, or applications. This role is accountable for facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, and presenting findings. BI Analysts must have an interest in going beyond the obvious to create information, find insights, and turn those insights into a story to drive impact and reputed company decision-making. Essential Functions
- Create visual design solutions and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that deliver insights.
- Analyzes, designs, codes, configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents and maintains reporting assets.
- Utilizes appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and information by making use of basic BI reporting tools.
- Works with internal/external team(s) to define necessary information and create solutions based on requirements.
- Works with Sr. and reputed company Analysts to ensure that processes and services are continuously monitored for data accuracy, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Supports processes and quality improvement activities.
- Participates in Agile ceremonies determining the nature and scope of project activities and processes to be developed or modified, working across teams to communicate development dependencies to accomplish final solution.
- Performs job-reputed company duties in conformance with DS standards. Coaches less reputed company Business Intelligence Analysts.
- Provides analytics that can turn data into critical information in understanding a systemic business need.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or relevant experience in reputed company field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in reputed company field
- Experience working with compliance data
- Experience working in Medicaid (preferably D-SNP)
