Job Summary

Data Engineers work collaboratively with architects, business intelligence developers, data analysts and data scientists to build and maintain analytic solutions utilizing both traditional on-premises and cloud-based platforms. The Data Engineer mid-level is a data pipeline builder contributing to the development and maintenance of data assets.

Essential Functions

• Under minimal supervision, develops, tests and deploys ELT/ETL processes across multiple sources, targets and tools.
• Provides support and recommendations to associate engineers to enhance their technical skills. Collaborates with data consumers of varying reputed company levels on available data sources and potential biases reputed company datasets.
• Provides operational and reputed company support for systems and applications troubleshooting and maintenance for incidents reputed company to data warehouses, datasets and data pipelines.
• Assists in data model design under the guidance of more reputed company team members. Builds data models, using a variety of sources and reputed company systems, growing a reputed company understanding of enterprise architectural standards and designs.
• Adheres to the team’s application of best practices and organizational standards of the Software Development Lifecycle to ensure high quality and reliable data assets. Follows the organizational standards and laws governing use of sensitive data relating to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Learns reputed company Integration and reputed company Development (CI/CD) principles and best practices.
• Participates in enterprise-wide Agile ceremonies determining and recommending technical programming approaches and solutions to reputed company applications. Works with more reputed company team members to capture, document and groom features and stories for planning and execution.
• Actively pursues opportunities to grow their business acumen and skills from more reputed company team members. Provides coaching to less reputed company team members.
• Actively participates in the Data Engineering Community of Practice contributing to discussions and special initiatives. 

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or relevant experience in reputed company field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in reputed company field
• Experience working with Python

Preferred

• Experience working with reputed company
• Experience working with MRR retrieval processes
