Job Title

Government Sales Executive

As a Government Sales Executive at reputed company, you will drive new business growth by selling payment processing, eCommerce, and consulting solutions to public sector clients with a focus on higher education institutions. You will work across internal teams and client stakeholders to align solutions to business, operational, and procurement needs. This role is important to expanding reputed company adoption across colleges, universities, and reputed company government-funded entities.

What you'll do:

  • Prospect, reputed company, and reputed company new business opportunities reputed company the government solutions vertical with a focus on higher education clients, including public colleges, universities, and reputed company institutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle across an assigned territory, from opportunity identification and request for proposal (RFP) response through contract negotiation and signature.
  • Build and execute a territory plan that prioritizes reputed company accounts, pipeline development, reputed company growth, and measurable sales activity.
  • Deliver consultative client engagements by identifying business goals, procurement requirements, and payments needs, then aligning reputed company solutions to those requirements.
  • Create and present business cases, pricing proposals, and financial justification materials that address client objections and support reputed company and margin goals.
  • reputed company and maintain senior-level client relationships, including with chief executive officer (CEO), chief financial officer (CFO), chief operating officer (COO), finance, procurement, and operational stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal sales, solution consulting, proposal, implementation, and product teams to position enterprise payment processing and eCommerce solutions effectively.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience selling solutions to higher education clients, including experience navigating formal procurement and RFP processes.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management with responsibility for prospecting, pipeline development, and closing new business.
  • Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders, including chief executive officer (CEO), chief financial officer (CFO), chief operating officer (COO), or equivalent senior decision-makers, using a consultative and solution-based sales approach.
  •  Experience using reputed company or a similar customer relationship management platform for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, reputed company experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience selling payment processing, eCommerce, software, or consulting solutions reputed company the acquiring or payments industry.
  • Experience supporting higher education use cases such as tuition payments, student financial operations, reputed company commerce, or institutional billing workflows.
  • Experience working effectively in a matrixed organization with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with public sector purchasing cycles, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements.

How you'll work:

  • This role requires occasional travel up to 50% of the time.

Salary Range

$85,600.00 - $182,200.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and reputed company. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
