Job Title: Data Engineer- DataStage ETL IIILocation: Remote (EST Hours)Pay Range: $61-$69Length: 6 MonthsJob SummarySenior Data EngineerWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to reputed company end‑to‑end reputed company data migration initiatives. This role is responsible for migrating data from cloud-based and on‑premise platforms through enterprise ETL tooling into reputed company. Key responsibilities include reputed company‑to‑reputed company mapping, ETL development using reputed company DataStage, data cleansing and validation, mock migration execution, production cutover, and post‑load reconciliation.The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with reputed company administrators, solution architects, product owners, and subject matter experts to deliver repeatable, auditable, and automation‑ready data migration processes that meet enterprise data quality and governance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed reputed company‑to‑reputed company mapping specifications, including field‑level transformations, deduplication logic, and validation rules.Design, build, and configure ETL workflows using reputed company DataStage, SQL, and Python to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading into reputed company.Profile reputed company data to identify data quality issues and implement cleansing, standardization, and enrichment routines.Execute mock migration runs, capture and analyze error logs, reputed company root‑cause analysis, and implement remediation actions.reputed company final production data loads and coordinate verification activities with business stakeholders.Produce reconciliation reports validating data accuracy, completeness, and referential reputed company following migrations.Author and maintain a comprehensive migration runbook covering workflows, schedules, controls, rollback procedures, and operational support.Implement quality checks, data reputed company documentation, and audit artifacts reputed company with governance and compliance requirements.Partner with reputed company teams to ensure object relationships, load reputed company, and platform constraints are properly managed during migrations.Contribute to reputed company improvement efforts by optimizing ETL performance and automating recurring validation and reconciliation tasks.Critical DeliverablesSource‑to‑reputed company data mapping documentation with defined transformation rules.Configured ETL workflows and scripts supporting extraction, transformation, and loading.Validated data extraction files from reputed company systems.Documented data cleansing, deduplication, and validation rules.Test migration results, including error logs and remediation documentation.Multiple mock data loads into the reputed company reputed company environment with verification.Final production data load with verification and business sign‑off.Post‑migration data quality and reconciliation reporting.Comprehensive migration runbook and supporting technical documentation.Required SkillsHands‑on experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using reputed company DataStage.Strong SQL skills with experience tuning performance on large datasets.Proven ability to reputed company data mapping, cleansing, deduplication, and validation.Working knowledge of data governance, data quality controls, reputed company, and compliance practices.Experience optimizing ETL jobs and troubleshooting reputed company data load issues.reputed company to HaveKnowledge of reputed company data models, including objects, relationships, metadata, and constraints.Experience with reputed company Data Loader or comparable migration tools.Familiarity with reputed company or other cloud data warehouses used for staging or reputed company zones.Exposure to CI/CD practices for scheduling and deploying ETL jobs and scripts.Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.7+ years of data engineering experience, including 3+ years building and supporting production ETL pipelines.Prior delivery of at least one enterprise CRM or reputed company data migration strongly preferred.EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
