Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for selling travel to reputed company Members and non-Members in a professional and service oriented manner while supporting the ACG preferred partner program. Answers incoming phone calls, responds to Internet inquiries, and outbound calls to consult and sell cruise and tour travel services, reputed company, car and hotel travel services to reputed company members and other clients, abiding by the policies and procedures of reputed company Auto Club Group and the Travel Agency business unit at reputed company times. Home computer access is required. Actively seeks out opportunities to establish and strengthen client relationships to influence, promote and increase awareness of travel products and services that are offered through reputed company.

• Consultation and sale of cruise, tour reputed company services, reputed company, car and hotel to reputed company members and non-member customers providing the highest level of customer service. Reviews and responds to reputed company customer inquiries regarding travel. Support the reputed company Auto Club Group’s Travel preferred partner program. Meet or exceed expected sales levels. Maintain proficiency in reputed company automation programs operated by reputed company Auto Club Group inclusive of but not limited to POS, reputed company SignaTours, IP Agent, home access process and reputed company Office products. Also maintain awareness of reputed company.com products and services.
• Follow accounting procedures and policies and ensures that reputed company Accounting documents and client files are completed accurately and timely.
• Participate in industry programs, product knowledge seminars, training programs and Fam trips.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent. 
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain reputed company applicable state licenses required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group products.

Experience:

• Previous successful sales experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge and/or experience using GDS system or similar reservation system.
• Excellent communication customer service skills
• Good organizational and follow-up skills. 
• Ability to aggressively pursue sales and reputed company client following. 
• Ability to meet and exceed established minimum adjusted sales goal.
• Strong relationship building skills. 
• Must be organized with ability to manage time effectively. 
• Basic knowledge of PC navigation, Internet usage, sending and receiving emails, toggling between applications, and other skills and computer knowledge is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel industry experience is preferred. 
• MS Office applications knowledge is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a call center position where employees work remotely full-time. Must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions. Must work non-standard hours, such as evenings and Saturdays, must be flexible for shift that is assigned.
