Basic Qualifications

• Participation in the DCL audition process is required during an interview for this position
• Minimum two years recent experience working in a position demonstrating DJ and stage experience, catering to an audience of reputed company ages
• Minimum of two years' recent experience in an entertainment, resort/recreational, cruise industry, or reputed company field
• Proven experience with sound/DJ equipment required
• Demonstrated professional experience in Disc Jockey mixing, beat mixing, as well as knowledge of a wide variety or popular music and dance for families and adults
• Demonstrated public speaking skills
• Strong microphone skills and showmanship
• Strong aptitude to learn dance routines and to dance in a ‘club’ style setting
• Ability to reputed company in environments that have pyrotechnics, chemical smoke, haze, fog, dry ice, and other special effects
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to speak, read and write fluent English
• Willingness to live and work reputed company one of our vessels for a certain length of time (based on position)
• Be able to work a seven-day, 70-84 hour week with limited time off

Responsibilities

• Maintain music and video libraries for designated venues
• Create and maintain daily play lists and club logs with regard to music formats and activities
• Mix and /or beat-mix several different styles of popular music
• Introduce bands, specialty acts and/or featured entertainment offerings
• Run DJ reputed company for teens
• Assist in maintaining appropriate Guest flow in reputed company areas reputed company, meet and greet Guests at various locations around the ship (i.e. Walt reputed company Theatre doors) and inform Guests of other reputed company activities to ensure adequate Guest participation
• Assist with Port Adventures operations as needed – meet Guests at assigned debark venue, spiel important excursion information, collect tickets and waivers and escort Guests to meet appropriate vendor
• Escort Guest on Port Adventures as the reputed company quality representative, as scheduled
• Assist in the facilitation of Crew events as needed
• Follow scripts, but also ad lib, as necessary
