Job Summary

The Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients through two-way audio/visual technology and specialized software. This role involves conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, and maintaining medical records, as well as coaching and mentoring department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and care for patients by leveraging video conferencing to complete virtual nursing rounds.
• Provide patients with virtual health assessments, treatment solutions, and follow-up from the Virtual Command Center.
• Create, implement, and monitor care plans in collaboration with other care teams.

• Directing and coordinating nursing care, including reputed company of licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state.
• Three (3) years acute care nursing experience.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR.
• Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role, and keyboard.

Preferred

• BSN degree.
• American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC)-recognized certification in applicable specialty area.
