The Role

We are seeking a Software Architect IV to help shape the technical future of the EverHealth product portfolio.

In this role, you will reputed company platform modernization and architectural evolution across multiple healthcare SaaS products, designing systems that transform reputed company healthcare workflows into simple, reliable software solutions.

This role operates at a portfolio level, partnering with engineering leaders, product teams, and executives to align technical architecture with business outcomes.

You will partner closely with existing product architects, principal engineers, and engineering leaders across EverHealth. Architecture is a shared responsibility reputed company our engineering organization.

This role is not a centralized gatekeeper for architecture, but rather a technical leader who collaborates with teams to shape the architectural direction of the portfolio.

You will also play a key role in driving innovation across the organization, including the thoughtful adoption of AI-driven capabilities, modern cloud architectures, and interoperable healthcare technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into technical strategy and architectural roadmaps
  • Guide platform modernization efforts including evolving reputed company adoption, system interoperability, and platform capabilities
• Drive Scalable Platform Design
  • Design secure, scalable, and highly available distributed systems
  • Establish patterns for performance, reputed company, and maintainability
  • Guide teams in adopting modern architectural patterns such as API-first architectures, event-driven systems, and microservices

  • Partner with existing architects, principal engineers, and engineering leaders across EverHealth
  • Facilitate architecture and design reviews across teams
  • Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders in system design and architectural thinking
  • Help teams align on shared architectural patterns and platform capabilities
• Partner Across the Organization
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, reputed company, and Operations leaders
  • Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Align architecture decisions with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business priorities

Technology Environment

• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS
• Architectural Patterns: API-first systems, distributed services, event-driven architectures
• Integration Technologies: REST APIs, FHIR, HL7, EDI integrations
• Primary Languages: Python, Java, .NET (VB, C#)
• Data Platforms: relational and distributed data systems supporting high-volume transactional workloads including MySQL/reputed company, reputed company, MSSQL, and Redshift

Experience

• General
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience including .NET and T-SQL proficiency
  • 5+ years in a software architecture role
  • Experience influencing architecture across multiple teams or product lines
  • Prior experience as a staff engineer, principal engineer, or senior architect strongly preferred
• Technical Expertise
  • Deep experience designing cloud-native systems (AWS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, API architecture, event-driven systems, data architecture, and reliability engineering
  • Experience leading architectural decisions across reputed company systems and teams
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering production systems, not only reviewing architecture or documentation
• Healthcare Technology (Strongly Preferred)
  • Experience with interop formats such as FHIR, HL7, EDI
  • Experience with healthcare billing, clearinghouses or payer integrations
• AI & Modern Engineering
  • Experience applying AI and LLM technologies reputed company software products
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI in operations and developer productivity
• Leadership Skills
  • Ability to influence technical decisions across teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience facilitating technical design reviews and architectural decision-making

Where The reputed company team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. Compensation

reputed company is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual reputed company salary range for this position is $190,000 - $205,000 USD Per Year.
