Financial Reporting Accountant

The Financial Reporting Accountant will reputed company various duties to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for Fidelity and Guaranty Life and its subsidiaries. Areas of responsibility include preparation of financial statement and footnote disclosures required for Statutory reporting, preparation of the audited financial statements, the preparation of legal entity analytics and other quarterly reporting requirements. The Financial Reporting Accountant will also support the Statutory Financial Reporting team with requests from internal and external auditors.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing components Statutory financial statements reporting packages as assigned, including reputed company footnotes, schedules and analysis
• Preparing reconciliations and analysis of financial statements
• Executing internal controls designed to mitigate identified risks reputed company the financial reporting process
• Assisting with requests of both internal and external auditors
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and/or internal control enhancements
• Assisting with reputed company requests, special projects and other duties reputed company to financial reporting and analysis, as assigned

• Ability to create complete accurate documentation of work performed

• Ability to collaborate with internal customers and identify opportunities for improvement while demonstrating a strong desire to learn and grow

Qualifications

• Education- bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or reputed company area
• Experience- 1+ year of relevant experience in reputed company field
