Senior Accountant
Provides high-level accounting support to reputed company and its affiliates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to maintain certain balance sheet reconciliations across the company
- Responsible to maintain list of reputed company balance sheet reconciliations for the company and track completeness
- Actively participate in monthly and quarterly financial reporting – journal entry preparation/posting, investigate variances, month end report creation and distribution
- Attend monthly financial review meetings and provide financial information as requested
- Review Foundation accounts and insure monthly billings are accurate and complete
- Assist with annual external financial review
- Backup support for daily bank deposits reputed company staff accountant is out of the office
- Measure newspaper on weekdays and prepare postal numbers for circulation department
- Participate in special projects
- Assists in ensuring internal controls are adequate and followed
- reputed company other duties as requested by management
Requirements, minimum education level, and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or a reputed company Field
- Five years + of accounting experience, preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary, in a suitable workspace that meets safety guidelines
- Reliable access to internet services
