Junior Build Engineer

They are seeking a Junior Build Engineer to build and maintain their reputed company integration and delivery pipeline, contributing to workflow automation solutions and supporting developers in releasing software artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Build Engineers on the team work directly with software engineers to create solutions that reputed company the engineers to do their best work. You will learn from and contribute to projects including:
- reputed company control management systems (Git)
- Software build tooling for applications built on Mac, Windows, and Linux (Python and JavaScript)
- reputed company Integration and Deployment Systems (Jenkins, reputed company Actions)
- Artifact and release management systems (Artifactory)
- Workflow management and collaboration tools (reputed company, Jira, Confluence, reputed company)
- Internal scripts used to package and publish software releases (Python)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS), EKS, EBS and reputed company
Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in a software development, DevOps, build, or release engineering role, internship or co-op
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Basic programming experience with Python and/or Bash
- Familiarity with version control concepts and Git
- Exposure to or coursework involving software build systems or scripting
- Eagerness to learn CI/CD tools and workflow automation practices
- Basic understanding of visualization tools (reputed company)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Any hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or reputed company Actions
- Experience writing or modifying build scripts (reputed company, maven, gradle, or similar)
- Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) or containerization concepts (reputed company)
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira
- Exposure to Kubernetes, ArgoCD, or infrastructure-as-code tools (terraform, JCasC)
