Overview:

As we continue to grow and expand our national footprint, reputed company Connectivity & Power Solutions is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our reputed company sales team with a focus on the Rail and Transit market. This field-based role covers the Eastern United States, with a territory spanning from Michigan down to Mississippi, across to Florida, and north to Montreal and Toronto, Canada. 

As our Rail & Transit Territory Sales Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner to OEMs, engineering teams, and procurement professionals—offering technical product guidance, delivering tailored connectivity and cable solutions, and building strong relationships across the passenger and freight rail segments. This role includes strategic account management, business development, and project coordination for long-term rail and specialty infrastructure programs.

This position offers a remote work arrangement but does require approximately 60% travel to customer sites reputed company the assigned territory. Accordingly, being located reputed company this territory is a requirement. 

What you’ll do

Sales & Territory Development

  • Drive sales growth reputed company a defined geographic region by managing and expanding relationships with OEMs, engineers, purchasing teams, and end users
  • Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for project-based and contract-based business, including wayside cable systems, rail-specific cable assemblies, and low-voltage connectivity products
  • Apply our sales process to identify new opportunities and reputed company business reputed company assigned accounts

 

Technical Sales & Support

  • reputed company technical discussions on product specs such as compression standards, noise ratio, and environmental requirements
  • Present tailored solutions and proposals based on unique rail and transit needs

Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration

  • Work closely with our sourcing, engineering, and operations teams to deliver solutions reputed company with customer and business objectives

CRM & Pipeline Management

What you’ll bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or reputed company discipline; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 10 years in technical sales or sales management with a strong preference for experience specifically in the rail& transit market
  • Proven experience engaging with engineers, technical buyers, and OEM project teams
  • Demonstrated success in territory development and consultative sales

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate product specs clearly
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with strong self-direction and time management skills
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office and reputed company CRM
  • Ability to travel 50–60% of the time (may be higher in the first year)
