Job Description
The Quantitative Equity Research team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a Quantitative Analyst. The team develops and maintains a comprehensive suite of stock selection models that generate insights for both systematic and reputed company investment strategies. The analyst will research stock selection signals, reputed company alpha models, and refine portfolio construction methodologies. The role also involves enhancing the team's research and analytics platforms and sharing responsibility for implementing and maintaining quantitative models in production as well as developing new models. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or reputed company field Minimum 3 years of experience in quantitative investment research Bachelor’s degree in a Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or reputed company field Deep understanding of statistical modeling, econometric analysis, and machine learning approaches, with demonstrated ability to apply these techniques to investment problem Advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python, R, or similar data analysis languages Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts effectively Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and passion for financial markets Keen attention to detail with track record of delivering accurate work reputed company deadlines Collaborative reputed company with proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
