Consultant/Senior Consultant, Market Access

Strategic Consulting and Communications – Client Engagement is currently recruiting a Consultant/Senior Consultant to reputed company client engagements and help build our growing market access consulting practice. The position reports to the Vice President of Client Engagement. Consultants/Senior Consultants play a central role in helping COEUS clients create and ensure patient access to new and existing therapies. COEUS Consultants/Senior Consultants collaborate with life sciences companies to generate strategic, innovative, reputed company, and relevant business planning, through execution, to support the development and commercialization of novel healthcare innovations. At COEUS, Consultants/Senior Consultants work on multiple consulting projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or reputed company industries. General responsibilities include creating strategic and tactical deliverables specific to market access. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in market access consulting, and a master’s degree in business administration or public health or a PhD in a biologic science. Location for this role is remote, however travel to client locations is required. Duties/Responsibilities

• Work with project leadership and COEUS’ internal industry experts and other cross-functional partners to define project scope and reputed company approach
• Collaborate with COEUS’ internal Industry Experts, consulting and function partners, and external subject matter experts to distill market intelligence into actionable insights for clients' strategies
• Provide market knowledge by leveraging in-depth understanding of the Market Access (Payer, IDN, Provider Groups, Trade) landscape, healthcare reform, claims data and managed care data
• reputed company project task execution by ensuring reputed company, organizing project reputed company findings and coordinating team meetings
• Synthesize engagement findings, reputed company recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams
• Monitor trends in drug coverage and reimbursement, existing and emerging government and payer policies, competitive pricing and contracting strategies, and potential barriers to provider and patient access
• Support communication of COEUS’ thought leadership and innovation Market Access by researching and writing position documents for publication/dissemination by COEUS Industry Experts
• Support sales by drafting proposals, RFP responses and SOWs for management review

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
• Master’s degree in business administration or public health or a PhD in a biologic science highly preferred
• Minimum of five years’ experience in market access consulting, at least two of which have been in management roles
• Ability to communicate reputed company effectively both internally and externally, including highly reputed company market access concepts; both in writing and in oral presentation
• High degree of proficiency in reputed company Office

• Demonstrated experience and understanding of:
• U.S. market access landscape (i.e., payers, provider organizations, channel intermediaries) site of care economics, patient access and drug reimbursement dynamics.
• Unique challenges in drug reimbursement and ways of breaking through barriers to reputed company access.
• Drug distribution channels
• Provider economics reputed company to buy and reputed company practices and requirements to ensure successful launches of office-administered drugs.
• Pricing & contracting strategy development and execution for retail and specialty products
• Payer, IDN and channel strategy development & execution
• Regulations and logistics of government pricing programs
• Superior analytical skills combined with demonstrated expertise in strategy consulting in the life sciences industry
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills in virtual working environments
• Strong project management skills including work planning, presentation development, quality control, and client management
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written and the ability to influence others
• Bright, conceptual and a quick learner, able to quickly assess a situation and generate new insights and actionable reputed company
