[Remote] Finance & Strategy Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a company reputed company for its luxury faux fur blankets, and they are seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate to drive business growth and profitability through financial modeling and analysis. The role involves collaborating with various teams to support accurate financial reporting and forecasting, as well as assisting in strategic planning and new opportunity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Lola Blanket’s financial model and assist with reputed company financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting on results versus budgets
• Assist in building business cases to assess and prioritize new channel and product opportunities, including market sizing and margin analysis
• Support pricing analysis to reputed company recommendations for new product development strategies
• Report on key business drivers that have the highest impact on the growth and profitability of the business
• Analyze the key drivers and surface insights to support strategic recommendations to improve business performance
• Support the monitoring and forecasting of cash flow and working capital, helping to ensure the company has the resources necessary to support its operations and growth initiatives
• Provide supporting analysis and documentation to the Controller and accounting team to help ensure accurate results and streamlined processes
• Build and maintain cross functional relationships to support reputed company' financial goals
• Work closely with the Product team on demand forecasting and inventory management
• Collaborate with Marketing to report on the financial performance of customer acquisition strategies and channels
• Support the preparation of concise, financial analysis-backed presentations and recommendations for leadership
• Contribute to the company's strategic planning process by assisting with financial insights and projections that align with business objectives
• Monitor the performance of Lola’s competitors, both direct competitors and in the broader home and consumer goods reputed company
• Provide performance summaries to recommend any successful strategies, and provide read-outs of public company results to reputed company Lola’s performance and broader macro considerations
• Assist with the development of pitch materials to expand the company's credit facilities, including lender presentations and financial projections

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in professional services (investment banking, private equity, consulting) and/or corporate finance (eCommerce, CPG, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands)

• Experience with financial modeling, reputed company processes, and corporate strategy
• Ability to communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner to business stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making through financial analysis
