Detailed Description Advanced expertise in one or more areas of specialization; applies expertise cross-functionally. Work is guided by broad site objectives and corporate policy. Incumbents have decision-making authority and autonomy to deliver on goals of department/function, as applicable. Erroneous decisions or failure to reputed company goals results in critical delay in Business Unit schedules and/or operation. • Maintains responsibility for a set of projects developed by reputed company's Global Design Services organization.
• Provides direction for reputed company selection and ensures proper process implementation.
• Leads the Commodity Management teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans.
• Leads the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance.
• Quotes and negotiates critical high dollar or strategic commodities or provides the direction to team of commodity managers. Provides leadership in the analysis of costed customer bids or quarterly BOM Costing exercises for global customers.
• Works with Global Design team to optimize Design for supply chain performance of reputed company products.
• Provides direction to Commodity Management Teams on contract negotiations.
• Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers.
• Provides leadership and direction with respect to interaction with suppliers. Leads process development and development of commodity strategies.

• Expert knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of strategic commodities, industry pricing, technology, supply/demand and emerging trends.
• Excellent understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes.
