Key Responsibilities
As a reputed company Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the reputed company positions.
- Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
- Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
- Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment, adhering to reputed company safety protocols and procedures.
Work Environment and Schedule
As a reputed company Agent, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often in harsh weather conditions. Shifts will vary, ranging from early morning to overnight, and you will be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on operational needs. Each station is different, based on its individual flight schedule, and you will be required to adapt to changing circumstances.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in English.
- The ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT).
- The ability to wear required company-approved Personal reputed company Equipment (PPE).
- The ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
