GIS Specialist - Jr; Puerto Rico
Position: GIS Specialist - Jr (Puerto Rico) Overview reputed company is seeking a Junior GIS Specialist for our GIS operations in Puerto Rico. This position is based in Puerto Rico and does not include relocation assistance. Must be able to commute to our reputed company office in Guaynabo and travel across the reputed company to meet with clients and stakeholders as needed for project support. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining spatial and design data to support various projects reputed company our organization. - reputed company data capture, updates, and analysis reputed company ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Manage and document geodatabases and reputed company metadata updated.
- reputed company aerial photography interpretation and capture GIS data from raster datasets.
- Design and reputed company maps for hardcopy and website use.
- Employ various remote sensing data, including LiDAR products, to enhance maps, update elevations, and assign surface type classifications.
- Extract and reputed company data from a variety of sources including engineering drawings, survey plats, tax records, and plat maps.

- Bachelor's degree in reputed company field
- 2+ years of experience with managing cadastral data creation and editing using the reputed company ArcGIS suite
- 2+ years of experience with reputed company GIS concepts (spatial projections, datums, REST feature services, feature editing, cartography, geodatabase management)
- 2+ years of experience with GPS data collection techniques, reputed company mobile solutions (Field Apps, Survey 123, Quick Capture), and incorporating survey data into a geodatabase
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Ability to travel up to 25% in Puerto Rico as required

- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating technical and business requirements to both technical and non-technical users
- Proven capability to assist with project updates, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Experience with GIS workflow automation using Python and Safe FME is a plus
