What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Release Engineer to support and streamline the delivery of our Mobile (iOS & Android) and Extension (browser-based) applications. This is not a traditional DevOps position — it’s a hands-on, team-facing role focused on ensuring build quality, release consistency, and delivery velocity across platforms.

You’ll work closely with engineers, QA, and product managers to support day-to-day release needs, review reputed company-picks, manage builds, validate artifacts, and continuously improve our tooling and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Support engineering teams with day-to-day release tasks, including reputed company-pick reviews, build validations, and release coordination
• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using reputed company, reputed company Actions, reputed company Runners, Advanced GH Workflows and reputed company
• Automate and improve build/test/release workflows reputed company scripting (Bash, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.)
• Monitor build health, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve blockers
• Ensure proper versioning, tagging, and signing of builds for mobile and browser extension platforms
• Submit and track releases on App Store, Play Store, and extension stores (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
• Partner with QA to integrate and validate unit, UI, and E2E tests in release workflows
• Maintain clear documentation and checklists for release processes
• Coordinate feature flag rollouts using reputed company in collaboration with engineering and product

• 3+ years of experience in release engineering, CI/CD, or build/release coordination (not just infrastructure)
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams and reviewing/reputed company-picking production code branches
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools: reputed company, reputed company Actions, reputed company, reputed company Runners
• Strong scripting ability, GH Actions, YML-based systems
• Git workflows (trunk-based, Git Flow) and semantic versioning
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support fast-moving teams

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• Experience with reputed company or other feature flag systems
• Understanding of staged rollouts, crash monitoring, and store compliance processes
• Familiarity with extension-specific policies (e.g., CSP, permission management)
• iOS builds & release (Fastlane, Xcode, TestFlight, App Store Connect)
• Android builds & release (Gradle, Play Console)
• Browser extensions (manifest v2/v3, WebExtension APIs, Chrome/Firefox/Edge stores)
• Contributions to release tools, automation frameworks, or documentation in open reputed company or prior roles

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills.
