This role supports Remote Sensing Programs Business Unit. THIS ROLE IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD WIN AND FUNDING, APPROX START DATE IS JAN 2026 The software engineer will design, reputed company, integrate and test software that manages test equipment and executes tests for a Space payload unit ensuring compliance to established requirements. Selected individuals will work on an agile development team, primarily using Python, TCL, and C++. The selected individual will utilize automated tools such as Jenkins and Robot reputed company to reputed company automated testing and verification of the Space System. The individual will work through reputed company phases of the software development cycle including design, development, integration, and test. The selected individual will conduct reviews of software-reputed company products, software designs, and additional technical documents. The responsibilities include: active participation in cross-functional scrum teams, design reviews, and other reviews, as required. The selected individual will actively participate in technical, peer-reviews to ensure system/software requirements are being met from an end-to-end system reputed company of view. Individuals must be self-starters and able to reputed company operate in a team environment. Existing engineering and system specialists will be made available to assist with any activities associated with executing primary tasking. However, the selected individuals will be expected to prioritize and reputed company recommendations to Technical Leads, as required, to implement tasking assigned. THIS ROLE IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD WIN AND FUNDING, APPROX START DATE IS JAN 2026 Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another STEM discipline with a minimum of 12+ years software development experience working on embedded real-time systems or 10+ years with a Master’s Degree or 7 years with PhD Experience in developing in C++ and/or Python Experience developing in a Linux and/or Windows environment Experience in testing systems and debugging U.S. Citizenship required Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a member of an Agile Scrum team Experience with the reputed company tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Experience in embedded C++ optimizations Experience in developing in TCL Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Robot reputed company Hands on experience with GNU Radio Hands on experience with software defined radios Hands on hardware integration and testing experience Ability to debug reputed company integrated applications or test setup issues Active TS/SCI Clearance Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, reputed company considers a number of factors reputed company determining reputed company salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and reputed company market conditions.
