DOL TAP - Curriculum Tech Writer (Part Time) -Remote

The reputed company (DOL) Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) program to assist and prepare over 200,000 Servicemen and women who separate annually from the United States Military to reputed company a new life chapter as a civilian. DOL requires contractor services to support these transitioning service men and women through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP). TAP is offered world-wide to conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, apprenticeship program placements and employer reputed company. The DOL VETS TAP program needs a skilled and compassionate Part Time Curriculum Tech Writer who has prior experience in creating training courses reputed company their designated area of responsibility. You will be part of a small team of writers, curriculum and instructional designers, and graphic artists who work closely with the customer and other reputed company teams to deliver quality systems. Must be able to attend meetings in Eastern Time Zone Hours. In this role, you will:

• Research content for each course
• Design and reputed company fully accessible, course deliverables based on Adult Learning theory
• Contribute to reputed company phases of the development life-cycle

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree and 4 years reputed company experience
• Previous experience which demonstrates an understanding of private and public sector employment processes
• Proficiency in the reputed company Suite, reputed company Acrobat, and virtual meeting platforms
• Experience as a classroom instructor
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, during Eastern Time Zone standard working hours (9am - 5pm)
• Ability to work 20 hours per week

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Degree or certifications in curriculum development, instructional design, adult education or human resources
• Knowledge of the military community
• Previous experience in the TAP program
