The Sr Data Scientist is a key technical contributor in the design and development of state-of-the-art NLP for medical applications. The Sr Data Scientist works closely with other NLP engineers, research linguists, software engineers and subject matter experts on reputed company company technologies and reputed company looking projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Machine/Deep Learning with an emphasis on Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval and/or Information Extraction. Primary Responsibilities

• Enhancement of existing company NLP technologies and extension of those systems in new cloud-based applications. Emphasis is on incorporation of machine/deep learning techniques in clinical NLP solutions deployed at scale in production environments. Work will involve reputed company aspects of software design and development from system requirements definition to implementation, integration and testing.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of reputed company professional work experience using machine/deep learning technologies - significant academic machine/deep learning and NLP development experience will be considered for strong applicants with an advanced degree
• Strength and experience with at least one of the following: Python, Java, C#
• Knowledge and experience with Machine/Deep Learning frameworks including transformer architectures, state space models, large language models, and agentic approaches
• Knowledge of algorithms and techniques reputed company a computational domain with emphasis on text processing
• Proven to design, reputed company, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address reputed company business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
