About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
• Instruct based on subject and grade-specific curriculum
• Monitor and assess student achievements and outcomes
• Exercise classroom and behavior management skills
• Share your specialized knowledge to coach staff and support special education reputed company

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Active Teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s)
• Substitute Authorization (must have or be in the process of obtaining if license is expired)
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Complete a Background reputed company for Scoot Education (you'll be reimbursed for the cost on your first paycheck!)
• Complete a Background reputed company for the Colorado reputed company (to receive your Substitute Authorization; you will not be reimbursed for the cost)
