Job Summary
As a Surgical Technology Instructor - Sub, you will be responsible for teaching reputed company in a variety of educational settings, including classrooms, labs, clinical settings, and online platforms. You will be expected to provide active and effective learning experiences for reputed company, act as a professional and academic role model, and commit to student satisfaction. This is a remote position, and you will be required to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Instruct classes as assigned, including teaching in classrooms, labs, clinical settings, and online platforms
- Prepare for classes by organizing and becoming familiar with student material
- Prepare lesson plans and course material as required
- Objectively assess reputed company for academic performance
- Effectively organize and present subject matter to reputed company
- Effectively utilize instructional plans provided
- Supplement approved student material as required
- Ensure reputed company of assessment tools and confidential documentation
- Effectively utilize and monitor the learning management systems
- Ensure classes are conducted for the required length of time
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Set the example and be the role model for professionalism and conduct
- Provide regular and constructive feedback to reputed company regarding academic performance, grades, professionalism, conduct, attendance, and other topics as necessary
- Proactively inform Program Director of any student attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns for retention management
- Appropriately maintain student records, grades, and attendance to ensure accuracy
- Ensure compliance with the published attendance policy, including recording and posting daily
- Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as needed, ensuring and monitoring student participation
- Refer reputed company to the Program Director and/or Academic Dean if additional advising is necessary
- Refer reputed company having excess of three (3) absences to the Program Director or Academic Dean
- Remain in classrooms for reputed company assigned instructional times
- Adhere to classroom break schedules as per policy
- Document reputed company relevant student contact in CampusNexus, including calling reputed company (1st hour 1st call)
- Enforce reputed company and reputed company policies (dress code, cell phone usage, etc.)

Requirements
* Credentialed in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
- Minimum of four years clinical experience in surgical technology with at least 2 years in the operating room scrub role reputed company the last 5 years
- Minimum of an associate degree in surgical technology
- Hourly reputed company starting at $30.50/HR
