About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Screener to join reputed company at our reputed company Wayne - Coldwater Rd location in Indiana. As a Medical Screener, you'll be responsible for screening donors, taking and recording vital signs, and ensuring the overall safety of our donors and team members. This is a hybrid role that allows you to balance your time between our reputed company and home, providing the flexibility you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional experience for our donors, answering phones, and addressing their concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Medical History Records: Use your attention to detail to screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintain accurate records.
• reputed company Improvement: Identify operational opportunities for reputed company improvement and initiate changes to center processes as needed, using company-approved procedures.
• Supportive Teamwork: Work collaboratively with your management team and colleagues to ensure a clean and professional work environment, attend team meetings, and problem-solve together.
• Phlebotomy: Learn to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines while ensuring the safety of our donors.
• Being Dependable: Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to ensure we're always available for our donors.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reputed company above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Due to potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace

• Competitive Salary: $16.00 per hour, with the actual hourly wage offered in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
