Job Summary

As a Patient Care Technician in our Float Pool team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to our nursing staff across various acute care environments reputed company McHenry Hospital. You will work on a part-time night schedule, floating to different units as needed to ensure that our patients receive the care they need. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including activities of daily living, observations, and assisting patients with personal hygiene and toileting needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs, report to the registered nurse, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including turning and repositioning bedridden patients and ensuring that patient rooms are tidy and stocked with supplies.
• Provide reputed company safety observation of patients identified to be at risk for causing injury to themselves or others, either in-person or reputed company reputed company video monitoring.
• Remotely monitor up to 9 patients reputed company reputed company video monitoring, providing effective verbal redirection and summoning staff as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care and support the nursing staff in their duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) Certification.
• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification or completion of one year of clinical practicum in a hospital setting reputed company a certified nursing program.
• CPI Certification reputed company 90 days of hire.
• Proficient computer and technology skills.
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workflow under various circumstances.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and flexibility to work in a variety of acute care environments upon little notice.

• Physical ability to reputed company functional requirements, including lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
