Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you will serve as the primary reputed company between reputed company and our client's Market Access Patient Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to reputed company on insurance support, problem resolution, access support, and office staff education
  • Collaborating with a 3rd party insurance support partner and specialty pharmacies as the primary reputed company of contact
  • Working closely with field roles, HUB case managers, sales, and national accounts to ensure seamless patient support
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of local, regional, and national insurance authorization policies and barriers
  • Maintaining high ethical and compliance standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BS, BA); a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmaceutical field-based role, preferably in the area of "rare diseases"
  • Case management, patient services, or pharmaceutical market access experience
  • A proven understanding of pharmacy benefit designs, prior authorization processes, and specialty pharmacy treatment reputed company
