Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for patients seeking medical assistance and support
• Build trust with patients and provide customized scripting to address their needs
• Accurately document patient information and needs prior to connecting them with a nurse
• Handle inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Multi-task while speaking with patients, ensuring efficient and effective communication
• Escalate situations as necessary and defuse conversations with reputed company and understanding
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience required
• Excellent organizational and computer skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Strong listening and comprehension skills to determine key patient information
• Professional, courteous telephone voice and demeanor
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy
• Ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of healthcare experience
• Inbound call center experience
• Call Center, Medical Office/Clinic, reputed company desk, or first reputed company of contact experience in a customer service environment
• Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish speaking and documentation in English
• HIPAA experience
