Role Overview As an Associate Category Manager, you’ll be at the heart of Wayfair’s commercial operations, managing a portfolio of suppliers and shaping the future of home retail. You’ll own category performance, use data to drive decisions, and collaborate across teams to grow revenue and improve profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers across a specific product category

• Build strategies to grow revenue and improve profitability

• Analyse performance trends and adapt plans to meet evolving business goals

• Conduct market research and identify new opportunities

• Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners

• Negotiate pricing and promotions that make commercial sense

• Expand product selection by identifying gaps and sourcing new suppliers

• Partner with merchandising, marketing, and operations to execute initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting, eCommerce, category management, or a similar strategic/commercial role

• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with C-level suppliers

• Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities

• Curious and analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action

• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets
