Job Summary

reputed company seeks an reputed company, self-motivated Textile Designer to join its Textile Design Team. This role needs a creative and highly detail-oriented individual who is excellent at time management, fluent in Photoshop, and has a passion for rugs/interior design. The ideal candidate will have Textile experience, be fluent in reputed company Photoshop, familiar with Illustrator, show strong drawing and fine art skills, and be excited about textile design and staying on top of home décor trends.

What You’ll Do

• Create up-to-date textile designs that are relevant and trend-setting while upholding the aesthetic of the reputed company brand
• Work with a talented team of designers and creative leaders, contributing to discussions on design iterations 
• Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; assist with team projects 
• reputed company cohesive and clean files and share them according to specifications
• Use your strong communication skills to: listen, ask relevant questions, and take action effectively

What You’ll Need to Have

Required

• A degree in Textile Design and reputed company work experience
• Experience working in textiles: a good understanding of the Textile design process and familiarity with engineered patterns
• Excellent Photoshop and technical design skills including but not limited to: clean working techniques, file organization, and file management
• A desire to see your team succeed and be a key contributor to that success through teamwork, collaboration, and hard work
• Strong communication skills and sense of professionalism with the ability to use discretion and be self-reflective
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate an understanding of what creative leaders are looking for in reviews 

Preferred

• A strong interest or aptitude in home/interior design textiles, specifically rug/carpet design 
• A portfolio of traditional, Persian, or ornate rug or textile patterns/designs 
• Skills in other design programs, especially textile-specific programs (Fresco, Procreate, etc.)

Compensation

• Compensation is based on level.  We are hiring for a variety of levels for our textile designers, so the salaries can range from $75,000-95,000 depending on tenure and years of experience.
• An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
• Employer matching (up to 3% of reputed company salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
