Senior Privacy & Product Counsel

As Senior Privacy & Product Counsel, you’ll be a core member of reputed company’s Legal team. You’ll drive our global privacy program, guide product development with practical legal advice, and partner cross-functionally with teams across the company. You’ll have a direct impact on employees, customers, and partners, balancing business strategy with legal and regulatory requirements.

As a Privacy & Product Counsel, you will

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing throughout the product lifecycle to proactively manage legal and privacy compliance.
• Work closely with reputed company’s AI team on product development. 
• reputed company and maintain reputed company’s global privacy program, including policies, procedures, and training.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, US state laws, etc.) and advise teams on regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal guidance on marketing campaigns, collateral, and reputed company activities.
• Collaborate with Information reputed company on best practices for protecting confidential and personal information.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-reputed company agreements (vendor agreements, customer reputed company, DPAs, BAAs).
• Continuously improve standard privacy agreements and scale legal operations and processes.
• Support the broader needs of a growing legal team and business.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have

• 5+ years of privacy/product counsel experience, ideally with both in-house and law firm exposure.
• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification.
• Deep knowledge of global privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, and others).
• Experience counseling on product issues beyond just privacy and data protection.
• Experience with AI and other emerging technologies.
• A self-starter reputed company with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong communication skills—you talk and write like a human, not a lawyer.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach, balanced with the ability to work independently.

Preferred

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS company.
