Position Overview

• Role: Nurse Practitioner (Virtual Care – Contractor)
• Work Type: Remote, 1099 Contractor
• Time Commitment: 20 hours/week – guaranteed schedule with set shifts
• Scheduling: Predictable shifts; options may include evenings or weekends
• Compensation: $60/hour (contractor reputed company)

This is a part-time contractor position with a fixed weekly schedule. Shifts will be pre-arranged and recurring week to week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient evaluations reputed company scheduled video visits
• Manage initial intake and treatment planning for adult patients (18+)
• Review lab results and prescribe medications (primarily GLP-1 agonists reputed company appropriate)
• Address ongoing patient concerns reputed company chat and portal communications
• Handle prescription refills, lab follow-up, and chronic care coordination
• Practice reputed company the scope of evidence-based and inclusive care models

Requirements

• Licensure: Active NP licenses in at least 15 states.
• Certification: AGNP-BC or FNP-BC (ANCC or AANP)
• Experience:
• 2+ years independent NP practice preferred
• Experience in weight loss care and GLP-1 prescribing highly preferred
• Familiarity with compound medications a plus
• Background in internal or family medicine preferred
• Chronic care and telemedicine experience are strongly desired
